Previous tenant applied for a Patchett Homes managed property, I refused to give a reference; requested through VanMildert at the instruction of Patchett Homes. My reference was not required in the end as my previous tenant got the property! wow. I even called VanMildert to say that I wanted to give a reference, but I couldn't! Clearly no value to references and source the 'best' tenant to live in your property.
